Thomas Plomp

From an early age, Thomas has been interested in how people throughout history have interacted around the world and what this means for peace and prosperity. It is therefore his goal to contribute to the solutions for the great challenges of our time - climate change, inequality, and international conflicts. Through his studies in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Utrecht University, he analyzes these complex problems from different perspectives and integrates diverse, sometimes conflicting, insights into new knowledge and creative solutions.

In addition, this past year he participated in diplomatic Model United Nations conferences in Montreal and at Harvard University on topics such as climate refugees and international intervention. He is also working hard to learn Spanish to study in Madrid for six months next year.
