Hidde Griek

Hidde works as an analyst within ftrprf. Hidde was born and raised in a small rural village called Saijo, East of Hiroshima (Japan). This experience, alongside moving to Friesland (the Netherlands), taught him a number of things. Most importantly, it taught him the value of making. Since he has studied Philosophy and Molecular Biology in a Liberal Arts setting at the Amsterdam University College, and is currently working on a Collaborative Design MA at Aalto University (Helsinki). Alongside his academic background, Hidde is currently working on his startup Flip the City and in a multitude of entrepreneurial settings. He believes strongly in curiosity, interdisciplinarity, hungriness for change – values refined over years living and working in distinct environments. He hopes to add his critical thinking and synthesising skills at ftrprf.
