Emma Datema

Emma was born and raised in the Netherlands. She realized early on that she likes to learn about the world by talking to others and hearing their experiences. To understand the world a little better, she studied Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) at the VU in Amsterdam, and also studied for a while in South Korea. Currently, she is studying International Relations at the IBEI in Barcelona, where she is particularly interested in geopolitical power relations and international cooperation. After the summer, she will continue her studies at NTU in Taiwan. What makes her really happy are poffertjes, Korean food, and lasagna. In her free time, she enjoys dinners with friends, running along the beach, and knitting.
