What can generations learn from one another?

“Get ready, I'm about to give you a knuckle sandwich!” Depending on when you were born, this sentence may make you feel like laughing, nostalgic or plainly confused. There are more fundamental differences between generations than just what references they do and do not know. Political and ideological orientations shift, reliance on digital devices increases, and childhood experiences differ. Just ask yourself: how different is your work life from that of your grandparents? And how different is the world that young children grow up in today, compared to your childhood?
